Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a star who strayed completely from traditional music into pop culture, turning into the pop icon of the future that will endure forever, and sweeping over every corner of the globe. Swift is shedding her country roots as if it were a second-skin, revealing herself to be the smartest pop singer/songwriter within her generation. Swift is able to tap into the current trend and create her own. The skills she displayed were apparent in some of her first tracks, including the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on her second album Fearless released in 2008 Swift could identify her true identity and gain a wide audience. Fearless was successful not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified songs. Its Top Ten songs Love Story & I Belong with Me were the most important reasons. However, it did well all over the world. Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago, consolidated her prior success, and catapulted the singer into superstardom. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she found herself in the world of pop music where it was clear that she deserved to be. When she reduced her sound to the stripped-down versions of 2020, folklore and Evermore, she still remained in the top spot. The position was defended through re-recordings of her previous catalog as in Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
