Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host best known as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent most part of her youth looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. When she was growing up it was not easy to get along between her mother and father. Sheryl alleges that, for instance she was stabbed by her mother's father when he became too close to her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. Her passion was comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career as regularly performing at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. Since 2011, she has been co-hosting the Talk Show. Also, she appears in fictional roles in shows like Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
