Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of Arts. The school was heavily involved in the clubs in the city of New York, and made enough noise to be recognized from the news media. At the same time she began to become conscious of AIDS' devastating effects. Her experience and fame as well as her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. In the following months, she got a job at MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production, initially in short roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
